At Slip & Stride, we take pride in our handcrafted footwear and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your order, we’re here to help with our straightforward returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unworn, in original condition with all tags attached
- Items must be in their original packaging
- A proof of purchase must be provided
Please note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on flat sandals and slingbacks that have been tried on without protective footwear covers. These items must be in completely unworn condition to qualify for return.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
- Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with your request
- Complete the return request form (template provided below)
- Wait for approval – we’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Package your items securely in the original packaging
- Ship your return to our Seattle address using a trackable shipping method

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Your refund will be credited to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of defective or incorrect items
- For exchanges, we’ll ship your new item once the return is received and processed
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We’ll arrange for a free return and replacement at no cost to you.
International Returns
For our international customers (excluding Asia and certain remote regions):
- Customs fees and duties are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional customs charges
